Connections ‘08: Call for Proposals and Registration
With less than a month to go, Connections ’08, the sixth annual e-Learning conference for Mohawk faculty, is starting to take shape. We still have a few openings to complete the schedule, and would like you to consider offering a session, in the form of a presentation, demonstration, workshop, round table, or a facilitated discussion.
For more information about the conference, and to respond to the Call for Proposals, visit the website at http://connections.mohawkcollege.ca
As well, registrations are now open. We hope you are planning to join us on April 30, and we hope you’ll let us know you’re coming; this will help us organize the rooms, lunches, refreshments, and manage the technical logistics. To register, visit the website and complete the registration form.
As you know, the College is also hosting the provincial Advancing Learning: This is IT! Conference later in May, so Connections this year will be focused more specifically on the e-Learning environment at Mohawk.
As in other years, participants who attend four sessions (one in each Group) will earn a Certificate of Participation and will be eligible for the prize draws at the end of the conference.
Plan to join us on April 30 to share your successes, and failures, as you continue to integrate e-learning and learning technologies into your teaching.
Also: please note in your calendars “More Connections’, the week of June 9- 13, when we will be offering a number of Learning Technologies and e-Learning workshops.
